Orban's Nursery Fundraiser

The Bradenton Puppy Raisers Group along with several Southeastern Guide Dogs Inc. Ambassador dogs met at Orban's Nursery on Saturday November 24, 2012. The dogs and their handlers greeted shoppers who came in over 500 cars to the annual one day event. Please take a moment to read about Orban's Nursery and their support of Southeastern Guide Dogs and scroll down to enjoy pictures from a fun day in Northwest Bradenton, Florida.

Orban’s Nursery is a wholesale grower specializing in  roses, poinsettias, and a variety of annuals, supplying many popular retailers and garden centers throughout Florida and beyond. Poinsettias are traditionally grown for the Christmas holiday season, however, they are also used as landscape plants in south and central Florida. Produced in a variety of sizes with decorative pot coversand protective sleeves, our Poinsettias are available at select stores and garden centers throughout Florida.

Orban’s Nursery is open only one day one day a year for the public to see over 100,000 blooming poinsettias before they are shipped to garden centers for the holidays. This is a rare opportunity for the community to visit the nursery, take photos and purchase holiday plants.
A portion of the proceeds to benefit
Southeastern Guide Dogs
Each November, as part of Orban's Nursery annual Poinsettia Drive-Thru sale a local charity is selected
to promote and support as part of the event.
 Last year,

showed their appreciation by naming a guide dog
in honor of Orban's Nursery. Handsome Black & Tan Labrador Retriever Orban is now a working guide dog.
