The Bradenton Puppy Raisers had a fun time at a recent meeting at the John Mable Park in Bradenton. New puppies Hurricane and Bo came to meet Brady, Edgar, Diesel, Shadow, Norman and Ryley. After updates from the Area Coordinator Susan LeBourgeois and Team Leader Sue Tomasso, the puppies did a nice job with an obedience session led by Deb Sutherland and then had a relay race that involved the puppy raisers dressing their pups in clothes, hats, and socks.
The Puppy Raisers learned a lot about their puppy during the dress-up relay race. Some of the pups tolerated a t-shirt, shorts, hats and even socks while others did not like the clothes at all. A nice exercise to see how the puppies handle the different sensory sensations of the clothes.
