We had a good turn-out for our July 19, 2011 meeting at the Manatee Public Beach. Besides enjoying a beautiful sunset with our guide dogs in training down by the water the puppies experienced a trolley ride, walking on a fishing pier & wooden, metal & concrete docks, shopping in a beach gift store, walking on different types of surfaces, climbing an open wooden staircase, settling under a table at an outdoor beach restaurant with live music and children dancing nearby. It was fun to have the 'verteran' raisers paired up with newcomers. We also welcomed prospective puppy sitter Joanne.
